WESTON: A Natural Environment to Live & Thrive

Located near Santee Lakes in eastern San Diego County, Pardee Homes’ Weston community will offer the comfortable convenience of urban living adjacent to one of San Diego’s most stunning natural landscapes.  Through its preservation of open space, a mix of residential homes and proximity to existing recreational areas, the master-planned community of Weston will be the ideal environment for growing families and recreational enthusiasts.

Proposed for a 204-acre property located just off of State Route 52 (SR 52) and north of Mast Boulevard, Pardee Homes’ Weston community has been designed to be respectful of the natural environment and emphasize open space, energy efficiency, habitat preservation and trail access. The Weston community will consist of approximately 415 single-family homes, ranging from 1,790 to 3,743 square feet. Pardee’s LivingSmart® energy efficient technology will be offered at Weston. Greater comfort, better efficiency and more savings are just some of the added benefits of a LivingSmart® home.

Weston families will have access to award winning schools such as West Hills High School and Grossmont Community College, as well as K-8 schools with high student achievement in the Santee School District, providing additional educational options. Premier schools, hiking trails, scenic landscapes and a variety of other nearby amenities make Weston an ideal place to live.

Commitment to the local community

Pardee Homes establishes ties to the community long before construction begins. As with all of its master-planned communities, Pardee Homes makes a long-term commitment to existing residents of the area and those who will one day live in the homes the company builds. Pardee Homes has contributed to the Santee-Lakeside Rotary Club and is a proud event sponsor for Santee Lakes, the Santee School District, West Hills Little League, and other philanthropic causes in the community.

The Weston project will generate hundreds of temporary construction and permanent jobs. Pardee Homes has retained East County-based LB3 Enterprises for grading activities, which began summer 2016. Pardee Homes has also retained local Santee contractor TC Construction Co., Inc. to install storm drain, sewer and water improvements, which began fall 2016. Pardee Homes has made it a priority to involve as many local companies throughout the design, approval and development of Weston as possible. The selection of local contractors is just another example of Pardee’s commitment to the communities it serves.
